Chris Lee is a Registered Professional Biologist (RPBio), Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) and Appropriately Qualified Professional (AQP) with twenty-five (25) years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. Prior to consulting, Chris worked for Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), heading numerous research projects relating to fish habitat and population assessments. Chris and his team have extensive experience in fish biology and aquatic / riparian habitat assessments, having completed numerous habitat compensation, enhancement and reclamation projects throughout the Fraser River, its tributaries and coastal / estuarine areas on the coast and on Vancouver Island. He has been formally trained in Erosion and Sediment Control, Environmental Assessments, Environmental Monitoring, Habitat Restoration, Fish Inventory, Assessments, and Fish Salvage. Moreover, he has experience in applying for provincial and federal regulatory approvals for routine and emergency works for small, medium and large-scale projects. He has also completed fish habitat and compensation offset habitat designs for a variety of projects in municipalities, for developers, industry and commercial clients, and First Nations. Chris has been conducting environmental monitoring activities for large infrastructure projects since 2003 and is lead IEM for the Pattullo Bridge Replacement Project and AQP for Highway 1 Widening projects. Previously, he was the lead environmental manager on the Evergreen Skytrain Joint Venture.
